Salads with cooked broad beans

Quick and simple salad with broad beans
- a head of iceberg lettuce
- green cucumber
- canned cooked broad beans (e.g. Jasmeen brand)
- 2 large tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- olive oil
- lemon juice
Transfer the cooked broad beans from the can to a strainer and rinse with cold water. Cut up the tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce, chop the parsley and basil finely and put everything into a bowl. Then add cooked broad beans and garlic squeezed through a press. Season everything with lemon juice, olive oil and salt. Mix thoroughly. Put the ready salad in the fridge for an hour.
Arabian salad with broad beans
- 1 can of cooked broad beans (e.g. Jasmeen brand)
- Handful of black olives
- 1 large tomato
- 1 onion
- ½ cup natural yogurt
- 1 tbsp tahina (e.g. Jasmeen brand)
- pinch of hot ground bell pepper
- olive oil
Dice the onion and tomato and place in a bowl. Drain the broad beans and add to the previously chopped vegetables. In a separate bowl, mix together the natural yoghurt and tahina and pour over the vegetables. Add black olives, sprinkle with hot paprika and drizzle with olive oil. Mix the salad thoroughly.
