The diet for malignant neoplasm should mainly contain food prepared in water or steam, not fried, but stewed or baked.

Patients should not consume old, spoiled or stored for a long time after preparation. Patients should avoid smoked, traditionally grilled, cured, or repeatedly reheated foods.

Oncology patients should also avoid eating highly processed foods with added nitrates, nitrites, glucose-fructose syrup, monosodium glutamate, and hydrogenated palm fat.
